JoyToKey may not be able to control certain softwares on recent Windows versions due to an enhanced security control in Windows system. JoyToKey works fine for Notepad, but not for the application/game I’m intending to use

In case JoyToKey was working fine, but it suddenly stopped working after a recent Windows 10 update, please reboot the PC once (instead of shutdown – reboot will clean up the memory better), to see if that helps.
